Side stand recall

    Has anyone else had their bike recalled for the side stand bolt. Mine's booked in for 11th Feb, hope it warms up ;-

    I also had the letter, so booked in for 11th Feb in Cardiff. Also hoping for a dry day so I can hit the twisties on the way there and back.

    Got my letter on Saturday, I informed my local dealer who are gonna get back to me with a date approx 2 weeks

    Given that I have a 200 mile round trip I'm going to enquire if they will send me the bolt and I send them the old one back. They probably won't wash it but no harm in asking. If not it could be many months before mine gets done. It'd be far cheaper to buy a bolt and fit it myself.

    Did it and the thread is gone.. (first 3 turns)
    Just sayin there is a "thin line" between bolt undone and stripped - in my case was anyway :(
