We took a little 2-up ride today. My passenger is not used to not having a back rest of some sort but she did fine. The handholds were pretty much useless, hidden down under the seat but she held onto my waist.

I did notice that the extra weight really improved the suspension. It felt more cushy.

I will be gone for a week to WV on another bike, leaving in the morning tomorrow but when I get back, I will lighten the rear preload and try it solo.

I repositioned my mirror/controls to suit and adjusted the shifter level as well. Things feel custom made for me now.

I agree. No lack of power for fully loaded bike!

Whilst an aftermarket fully adjustable suspension would be ideal....I suspect the stock suspension will improve as it breaks in.

This is all good news.I was hoping this would be the bike to ease my wife into riding pillion.
Just waiting for delivery of the bike and I'll be good to go!..
