Looks like it will be a new tail section, paint, and a different set of bars. I am trying to find a photo now.

Wow, that's weak...

Slap on a plastic number plate and I guess you're a "pro".

There is yellow outline on the wheels too,

You're right... PRO!! :02.47-tranquillity:

But seriously.... This "pro" model, and the 400 are disappointments, IMO.

You must be Pro if you can afford the 11.5k price tag the website is boasting. The little one is showing 8k too. I didn't think a skateboarding gorilla was going to reach out to anybody with deep pockets.

Are all the models going up in price. I kind of hope so. Could be good for us current owners.

Where are you seeing the price?
The gas cap is black on the pro. When can I get get one for my icon?
The 'Pro' name would have made a lot more sense if they'd thrown some Ohlins at it, instead of various bits from the accessories catalog.

A FT with decent suspension and a new paint scheme would have been a lot more interesting. I've been hoping for an 1100 for a bit but now, I honestly think I'd upgrade if they just brought out a more trick 803...
Saying that, a Scrambler that had 85-100bhp and could handle it, would likely be all the bike I'd ever want.
Has anyone put any aftermarket parts on the Flat Track Pro yet? Specifically tail tidy & seat. I am researching seats (British Customs & Mustang) and tail tidy & would like to see some pictures. Not sure if any of the aftermarket seat kits will line up right w/ the number plates. Does anyone have suggestions for what tail tidy works best for Scramblers without the rear fender? Looks like maybe the Evotech one? My local shop has a Rizoma tail tidy, any experience or pics of that one on a FT or FTPro ?
I've made the following changes to my FTP:
  • Rizoma dynamic mirrors
  • RG rear mudguard painted to match front mudguard (removal of tire hugger)
  • Storz tidy tail
  • Ducati LED turn indicators
  • Ducabike passenger peg removal kit
I'm extremely happy with this bike !!!

Wow Kent, that looks awesome! Now I want my bike to look like yours . After I removed the large plate arm I was thinking the back end looked a little unfinished & seeing your fender mod confirmed it. Are you considering a seat? I like the look of the stocker better than aftermarket ones, but after ~20-30 miles it's not comfy, not the worst, but needs improvement. Thanks again for the pics & info!

I had the same impression as you - with just the seat, the back end looks unfinished. I like the FTP number plates because they fill in a lot of "open space" which also looks unfinished on the other models. If you haven't picked a tidy tail yet, I would highly recommend Storz. It's very high quality, properly designed and easy to install. I originally had an R&G but the bend angle is incorrect and on the first ride it caught the tire and folded under.

Ducati Scrambler Rear Mudguard 97180301A ?
Has anyone modified this eBay tail tidy for use on a Flat Track Pro or FT ?

The eBay advertisement said it would fit the FTP, but I don't see how

That thing is really made for UE and Icon.

I have it as well for my DS, but it needs work on the original bracket AND on the new holder.
