I saw a great thread this morning here on another build by Merlinmerkin where he had blacked out his cool Full-Throttle. I did a similar exercise this past weekend to my red Icon. I wanted to do whatever I could to change the look and feel of my bike to something that better fits my tastes for as little cash as possible. Here is the look after a day's worth of work... I still have the seat and a few other items to address but it's getting there. I'll also say I didn't "build" anything on this one yet - it's mostly the sum of removing a bunch of little things to get to this point. More to come...

Looking good DownShift,

But how do you guys get on in the rain with no fenders, or don't they get used in the rain ?
You get wet! Seriously though, it looks cool without a front fender but I commute every day and I'll end up putting one back on eventually. Rain without a front fender = not fun

I just used plasti dip on the tank for now - wanted to make sure I'm happy with it before I have my painter buddy tear into it this winter. Like you, the seat is on my list of things to change :)
