I wouldn't bother unless the bike will be ridden in bad weather. It actually attracts dirt in my experience and will look worse while coated in it.

I cover my bikes in it over winter and then wash it all off in the summer, usually revealing a nice, non rusted bike underneath all the accumulated dirt.
