Hi.

I'm in the UK and want to get an Akrapovic exhaust. However, when I look online here Akrapovic Exhausts

There's 2 to chose from. One is £699 and one is £899. Which one do I need for the UK??

More pricey one has a catalytic converter but you can use either in UK at present. The one without cat has more power according to them
Put an offer in on the ebay one....save some cash. Calsport sell the one on ebay so it is a safe bet

Ah ok. See the thing is I've just had the one with the cat delivered and I thought I'd got the wrong one.

I can't really see how it's installed

While on the subject of exhausts is Akrapovic the way? seems so many to choose from Scorpion do one for about £250 I guess its a case of you get what you pay for maybe !???

I would say Akrapovic are probably at the better end of exhaust manufacturers and as you say I suspect you get what you pay for.

The akra exhausts for the scrambler are made from titanium an that's pretty costly.

The simple reason I've got an akra is because I was able to get it for £300 brand new from a work contact

My SC Projects Conic is well made and from a highly regarded company. It cost £285 delivered from Italy and is titanium. I think the Akra cans are too pricey for my liking but whatever floats your boat is what I always say

Go for the road legal one I've had a few Akrapovic silencers and down pipes , IMHO they're very well made and if you do have a problem they'll just swap it for you, and you're right they are top end of the price scale,
