Hi guys new on here like the forum I guess. Fell in love with the Scrambler 4 weeks ago on launch and just sold my Monster 1100S to fund the bike. Awesome bike to cool awesome fun bike. Have ordered the traditional Icon in Yellow and possibly having spokes dependant on price. Cannot wait for March

Welcome! I have that one ordered too and I want to customize it. It will be interesting to see how everybody makes the bike their own with the mods they do:)

I went and took my better half to the dealers today to finalise the payment of bike and the extras. She had never seen one in the flesh and was quite pleased thankfully. Also got the chance to sit on it with a pic.

The only downside is that the Termignoni exhaust not in yet and will have to wait until service time in a few more weeks after. All the other parts should have been put on the bike for next sundays bike pick up day.

I did show my concerns about the Full throttle seat becoming un welded/stitched on the number area but they assured me its covered in the warranty and they hadn't yet seen any sights of it as yet.

The total spent on my bike is £7837,37p but I still have the Termi system at £864 to pay for . TBH I allowed a budget of £10,000 over the years to get my bike the way I want it and different to everyone else's. Wire wheel's will probably happen later this summer.

Temporary lid in my favourite racers design and the right colour too.

I'm in the US on business and don't get back to the UK till the second week of March. Unfortunately I then have another four weeks to wait till I get my Classic:(

I'll just have to play on my 899 till it comes (y)

I've only seen the colour at the bike show, under the flouro lights, but I'm sure it'll be nice out in the sunlight,
Hopefully it should be here by next weekend, Did you get to start her up ?

No not PDI'd yet possibly. No it has a funny tinge to the colour under fluorescent light. I believe I chose the right colour for me but I like them all but red the least on this bike only due to every saying all Ducati's are red. Had I chosen the Monster 821 it would have been the matte white with red wheels.

Oh right, The one I tested was Red , it was ok ,but it didn't stand out, Just looked ordinary if you know what I mean, My Monster 796 was red and I liked that, funny how it suits some bikes, yes I like the matte white too,
Thing is about the scrambler, there's not much to be painted, so it's quite easy to change the colour if you fancied a change,

I was just looking at you and your bike pic Albie, Noticed the handle bars are very similar to the GS , I have a handlebar bag made by Wunderlich, Im almost sure it'll fit,
I found it great to put my phone in and visor cleaner, etc,

Yes plenty of room on bars for stuff. You could get the brace too to hang stuff off. Tried to find my Renthal braced black bars I may use on it as they are new and very like the Full Throttle ones. Cleared my garage and made loads more space so 2 500 singles, 2 mopeds and an RD and 2 pushbikes and room for the Scrambler too. I took the TT500 for a ride down the road. Its still my favourite and not run since September and starts 1st kick. Love that bike, original and tatty with dents.
