I'm new to the forum having bought an Icon which I love. I was expecting to see lots of threads about people changing the headlight! None of my rider friends nor I like it. Seeing the LSL Clubman headlight on a Scrambler (albeit bigger forks) it just seems to suit the bike more. What do you use?

I dont like the shape of the stock headlight, mostly how the lens protrudes from the bezel yet the entire light housing is sucked up so close to the forks. The cast bracket doesn't fit the naked look im trying to achieve

Also the led halo reminds me of a Autozone Honda special

Theses are just my options, flame on.

I quite like the headlight, I like the clubman too but I reckon in the flesh wile the headlight looks OK, the exposed rats nest of wires and cables etc. will spoil the whole thing. As for the Motodemic, wrong style of bike for it and way too big, may suit a big multi take on the Cafe Racer ie, XJR etc.

I personally like the way the headlight looks. I just hate the blasted bulb that's in it. Useless at night (hence why i installed an LED bulb)

The lens on my classic cracked. If anyone has replaced their headlight I am looking to buy the lens from your original headlight.
Oh no! Changing out headlight bucket is not a common mod in the Ducati Scrambler world so good luck locating a used one on a bike this new. A new one sets you back $300 USD it seems :(

I'd keep searching through eBay or Part-out in the classifieds section.

I'm with you, don't like the look of the factory headlight at all.
I switched to a Motodemic ...
Personally, I don't care much about the stock headlight's looks one way or the other. But the Motodemic headlight unit looks like it would be better illumination for the road, which I like a lot. And its bracketry, etc, looks much easier to get to and work with than the stock unit. So I put it on my "hmm, possible future things" list.

Thanks for mentioning it! :)

Thanks - yes I'm looking. I was quoted ~$450 (Canadian) from the local dealer (GP Bikes). Yikes!! So I'm looking for one on the web and thinking about going aftermarket. May even see if that windshield crack service would do the trick. The runs across the whole lens so I doubt it.

I ordered the complete LED headlight conversion kit (and a complete set of Rizoma LED turn signals to match, arriving tomorrow). The headlight arrived yesterday. So within a couple of days my original FT headlight assembly (as well as the turn signals, stock FT mirrors, and stock FT seat) will be available for anyone that needs them. If interested, drop me a PM.

Do you still have this by any chance? I got a nail in my tire and a broken headlight on my commute yesterday and I have no idea how it happened.
