My new friend Peter took delivery of his Urban Enduro on Friday so we went for a quick run on Saturday.

The numbers are increasing! Better still he only lives 3 minutes from me!

Oh mate, it's the ducks guts! I managed to squeeze a pretty good discount out of my local dealer, fitted and remapped.
There's something about the two valve engine and a decent exhaust. It's a sweet sound, rumbling but not annoying. Just plays soulful Ducati music to my partially deaf ears. (That's what riding since 1971 does to you)!
I think they got their target audience a bit wrong with the whole young urban hipster theme. There's a lot more to it than that!

I'll be asking the dealer for a good deal when I pick my Icon up next month.

Actually I was fibbing a bit. My hearing's pretty good. Earplugs have helped!
The dealers won't generally discount the bikes (not enough margin) but if you're nice to them and you come with a list of 'must-haves' they'll nearly always talk turkey on parts and accessories. They've certainly looked after me in the past. And maybe that's why I keep going back!
