I went for the day a few years ago and had a great time. This year I am
Going to the NEC.

All being well I'll be there next year, stayed at the Hotel Liberty , www.hotelliberty-milano.com in 2012 a beautiful art Deco hotel , check it out,
We, my son and I , will be going for the week (god willing) too much to see in a day IMHO,

I've been to the show on a few occasions and a good tip I was given is if you're using the metro don't waste time trying to fathom out the ticket machines just look round for a tabac stall in the under ground as they have the tickets on sale and usually speak good English.

I've been the last couple of years, it's huge! There's too much to really see in a day so grab a guide leaflet at the entrance and plan what you want to see ;-)
