Vince , You need to remove the grub screw on the inside of the fork leg( in the alloy casting) you'll find it's been peened over, and it's a devil of a job to remove it ,because they've used loctite as well, you'll need to drill it out,
Once that's out you need to unscrew the chromed fork leg from the casting, Theres a screw on the end once you've removed it, that holds it all together,
On assembly use a new "O" ring , ducati don't sell them though,
If you want my advice, unless you have a well equipped work shop with some machining facilities, get a professional who's used to this type of work to do it for you ,
