Research well before buying, Armo. From what I've read, it's extremely easy to get screwed on Lithium batteries. All about it here, Cy is the battery Guru :
I put a Shorai lithium battery (Revzilla) in my KTM 300XCW. It does require a little different approach to maintenance than standard batteries. I'd suggest buying the correct charger/balancer if you are going the lithium route. Its amazing how light they are compared to lead acid types.
So is it worth it? Not for the weight savings on a street bike IMO.
