I'm planning on anodizing the side panels and a few other bits on my bike and wanted to know if they were painted or anodized, as i could just strip them fairly fast if they were anodized. I will be posting pictures once done and will be offering the service to anyone interested in anodizing their aluminum bits.

Knowing just enough of various subjects to be dangerous I believe the aluminum parts have an anodized finish. Just removed the finish from a classic rear mud guard with oven cleaner, which I then proceeded to polish starting with 400, then 800, 1500, 2000 wet-dry and finally rubbing compound. Thinking of doing the side panels next

if the mud guard was anodized, i bet the rest is anodized as well. I just didnt bother much with them as i've been super busy anodizing other parts, but i plan on giving these parts a bronze look. We'll see how it goes once im done!
