What lock would be the best to use for the Scrambler? I am looking at an ABUS chain in combination with a disclock.

I use the Oxford alarm disc lock, seams pretty decent as a deterrent anyway!

Do you know the diameter of the whole in the disc for using a disclock?
You don't need the disc's "whole" or "hole" diameter when buying a motorcycle disc brake lock. The hole size is pretty much standard. But you need to look at if you are buying a bicycle or scooter disc brake lock the pin size will be smaller. But the concept is theft deterrent so having an alarm ringing when someone handles the lock is recommended to scare away thieves.

I believe the scrambler's front or rear rotor an easily accommodate a disc lock pin of 14mm or roughly 1/2 inch.

I found this originally posted by Member Hui:
Front disc air holes are 8.1mm.
The rear disc has 7.49mm air holes.

If your lock has enough reach you could use (unusually) the floating bobbin holes which has a 6mm hole.

Best lock - is a 19mm chain and a CEN 6 Padlock - Squire SS65CS or Abloy 362

Look at

Sold Secure Approved & Police Approved Ground Anchors, Security Chains and more - Buy from the Manufacturer

or

Almax Security Chains Limited | Almax Security Chains

For seriously strong locks and chains that need to be used with a ground anchor.

No matter what you use - it can be defeated - but the above chains and locks are way above the stuff that you buy on ebay or in your local store.

I use a knockoff ABUS chain (Kyptonite) I biked up at a bike shop for est. $50.00
Looks great. The only thing I miss you can not combine it with a chain. They can "easily" lift the bike and put it in a van. I am looking more for a combination with a chain if I want to stall it for a longer period. But it looks very nice.
