Hi all,

I've disabled my Secondary Air Intake system by disconnecting the three rubber hoses but keeping the valve in place and electronically connected.
I've used some 15mm copper pipe with soldered end caps to plug the rubber hoses but I would like something more specific for the job, what have other people used?
The blanking plugs need to be either 1/2" or 12-13mm OD.

Many thanks.

I used vacuum caps to plug all the ports of the three hoses and used the original clamp to hold them on this way all the hoses are completely removed. Very professional looking route.

Hi there,
Thanks.... I've now ordered some alloy bungs to go in the end of the three hoses so keeping the hoses in place.

How have you found your bike since removing the SAI system?
Is your bike standard apart from that performance wise?

Thanks.

My bike just has a slip on and I noticed an improvement in how often it "back fires" through the intake when blipping the throttle, it now rarely happens but it has happened after doing this mod.
