I had a look at the wiring diagram yesterday. It shows a Bluetooth module!
I don't think though that this exists on the bike but there is probably a connector to add it as a future upgrade.
This may account for the phone icons that are unused on the dash.

Someone has just done that in another thread. I'm working on a colour version that'll publish when I have it finished in a day or 2.
