Never have had it happen with a bike. Guessing it wasnt fully clipped on the last service and eventually vibrated out. Id think a small SS panhead and lock nut would do the job just fine though, that is how all of the aftermarket rearsets on my other bikes worked.
Brake pedal quick attachment - gone
I was surprised to realize my brake pedal was no longer attached to the brakes recently. I noticed it while trying to brake for a light. Happily I was already engine braking and the front brake are my primary. The part 85010151a that connects the foot pedal to the rest of the brakes must have fallen off. Anyone else have this issue? I ordered a new one and put in a bolt and nut for the time being. Given the OEM fell off I may keep the nut bolt and lock washer as permanent.
