You don't need to remove the front cover to remove the turnsignals.I unfortunately broke off one of the front signals and need to replace it. was wondering if anyone knows how to remove that front cover to put in a new one? i couldn't find the bolts anywhere to unscrew it. thanks
To answer your original question there are four bolts that need to be remove to get that bracket off. Two 10mm nuts that you can see near the top on the back of the bracket. Need to turn handlebars full left and full right to get to them. Then there are two bolts through the bottom triple tree up through the bracket. You'll need to drop the fender off first to get to them. You'll also have to take the headlight out. Two brackets with star bolts on either side and an adjustment screw on the bottom right facing the rear of the headlight. Make sure you keep track of the cotter pin and spring for the adjustment screw. Metal ring and headlight grill don't need to come off. Unplug headlight and remove. Either untangle or unscrew the cable guides screwed into the back of the bracket. You may have to take the bottom plug off the ignition to get the bracket out depending on how they ran the wiring. No biggie, two screws, front and back, cap falls off and then the plug comes out when you press down on the tabs holding it in.
what did you use to cut the ear off?? thanksYou broke the ear off the bracket. You will need a new bracket part #21 in the following link. $80 euro's
Star Twin: the online shop for Ducati OEM spare parts and accessories.
Or you could cut the other ear off, clean up the area where it broke and install the fork mount led rings from New Rage Cycles like i did. View attachment 14161
