- Just got back from a southern California riding trip with about 1,000 miles of riding in 2.5 days. Doing winding canyon roads, minor freeway, dirt roads, paved mountain trails and even an OHV dirtbike area. I've done similar rides in southern Utah off road and didn't care for the stock icon pirellis. So I decided to give a Kenda k761 front at 110/80-18 and a 705 rear at 170/60-17 a try. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on mismatched tires that potentially wouldn't work well. I'm glad I did. The tires paired well on aggressive cornering on roads like GMR in southern California and did awesome off-road even on some loose steep up hill climbs. I think I spent a total of 150 for both tires including tax and shipping. The wear is minimal and they got the job done.
