Over on Advrider they're discussing the possibility of using a Buell factory take off on the Scrambler. I reckon the shocks are near identical in size except the shortest Buell shock is .75 inches longer, and has a remote reservoir that needs an attachment point.
Well after a lot of effort and time. They would still end up with a shock that doesn't work properly! I'm not saying that using a grinder and a torch that it couldn't be done, but the result would be negative.
