I was much the same. I got a redundancy after 16years at IBM. And fell in love with the Scrambler the minute i saw it. 5 days later it was ordered and never took one for a test ride either. I ride it everyday i can and smile the whole time... first bike in 25 years last one was a 1976 z1000 this is just a perfect bike for me... Classic, Termignoni slip on and ft handle bars with end mirrors...
