Cheapest/Easiest way to move up to high-pipes

My first service is this Thursday, I've had the bike for about 2 weeks now.

Looking to upgrade to the termi high-pipes or anything similar that would actually give a decent performance boost to my vera. The problem is I don't want to drop another 1.8k for the pipes yet and be left with the fatcattied termi's. I doubt anyone is going to want to buy them straight off for their scrambler, although i haven't checked yet.

If i were to have told my dealership that I wanted the high pipes from the get go, would they have charged the full 1.8k and left me with two sets of pipes?

Why not just buy the Zard high pipe?

AMS in Dallas would have...presume all other dealers would also not have given a credit for the original, removed
exhaust.
