Very nice indeed. But my guess is you won't want to go scrambling on it anymore ;)

That tank is nice - well done.
Like the pipes, I've been umming and ahhing about doing just that with the pipes, and now I've seen it they are next on the list.

I see you are from Brisbane. I think that is where I sent them to get painted.

Can you let me know where, I've called a few places and they haven't been too helpful, and if you don't mind, what did it cost (or pm me).

Love Byron, great place, but I haven't been there for about 5 years.
Might go for a weekend ride soon.

I'll look up where I sent them and let you know.

Cost about $400 AUS so pretty pricey, but the norm for ceramic coating I think.

If you go for a ride around Byron let me know.

Thank you for comments.

I am trying to work out what to put on the now blank tank panels.

I have sourced a pair of replica vi take Ducati badges made of alloy and then chromed. should go nicely with tank, but I do not yet know how to affix them to the panels.

any suggestions would be welcome?

You know what, IMHO it would look good with a RED "X" covering the screw

Double sided foam tape should do the job (in answer to your question) ;)

Doubled sided foam tape sound like the go.

I was thinking I would drill through the panel and bolt them on. Sounds more work than is necessary! tape sounds like a better option.
