Cleaning downpipes

Hi, just wondering what people use to clean their downpipes, mine are starting to look quite patinated. I've used autosol to good effect on polished exhausts before, but I don't want to rub away the nice bronze colour. Any thoughts?

My pipes are done with autosol as I dont want the bronze colour...

Did mine with Autosol following a hard winter. Came up more silvery but quickly regained their bronzed look after a few weeks use.

Same here. When I took my bike to the dealer for waranty replacement of termi race resonator they even thought I removed pipes and had them polished. Bronze was back only after few rides.
