Battery doesn't have enough charge to turn the motor over. Either jump it with jumper cables, recharge the batter with a battery tender, or replace the battery.
Thank you, i already tender it but still it wouldnt start.well i guess i will just replace the battery, any suggestion what is a good brand for the battery? Is it like plug and play, do i need to do anything else for the installation?Battery doesn't have enough charge to turn the motor over. I'd give the dealer a call, it could be covered under the warranty. If not I'd still purchase the battery through them. I will check it tomorrow, thanks for the info, i hope i dont have to buy a new one.A loose battery terminal will give you the same symptoms. So before you go and buy a battery check to make sure that all the connections to it are tight. If you can, check those to the starter solenoid and the starter too.
Thanks man...i will look it up..As others have said, Check the simpler things first before buying a new battery. It may just be a loose connection?
Take a look at the thread I created when I had battery / starting issues when I first collected my bike. It may not be relevant to you? But it could also help you locate the root cause of your problem.
Brand New Bike - Battery / Running / Starting Issues
A GT1000 is not a Scrambler and I doubt that there are many if any here who have detailed GT1000 knowledge as the bikes are now 10-12 years old.Now I just tried to start my GT1000 up and the moment I turn the key on the solenoids go ballistic, both, and the bike will not start, all the lights flicker in sequence with the solenoids.
