So I love the look of clip ons that I have seen. Having never messed around with them before, I have a couple of questions…
1. Size – It seems that most that aren’t going with Rizoma (really expensive) have gone with 51mm. However, I read on a post that someone was having trouble with the 51mm not “grabbing” (for lack of better term). Is 51mm the size I should get?
2. There was mention of possibly using a shim on the 51mm if does not get tight enough, what would you use to shim them?
3. Split Clipon – Would getting the “split” style make the install easier?
4. Can I install the clip-ons with gauge in factory location and move it later?
