Hi all,

Starting to think about new tyres for my Sled, I'm thinking towards Continental TKC's, Would like to hear your opinions/thoughts about this tyre. Has anyone got them fitted to their Sled? View attachment 36055

Thanks

Many people seem to like them, and they are a safe choice for bigger bikes. That said, Michelin introduced the Anakee Wild a few years ago, putting it directly up against the TKC (and supposedly beat them in most every aspect). Of course they won't work as good as the STR's on the street (which I find awesome).

If were using my DS offroad as well I'd choose the Anakee Wild....

I had the TKC80's on my Honda Cb500x that I sold to purchase my DS. I liked them and actually drug a footpeg once in a sharp curve. They did have a little noise to them and I rode in the rain but didn't push them at all. I used the balance beads in them and they were fine up to 85 mph. thats about as fast as I ever rode the little Honda. I may put them on my DS when I wear these out. They do look bad ass.
