CR tank side Panels?

Yes the side panels are removable. There is a hex head screw under the tank badge that is stuck on with double sided tape.

If you do a search loads of folk have removed these with a few different methods. I changed my Icon silver side panels for black years ago. I used high load bearing fishing line to 'saw' the badges off. Bit fiddly but it ensured neither the panels or the badges were damaged. I sold the old panels on and after refitting some new double-sided tape reused the original badges on the new black panels.
