I ordered the midnight tint, then when it came it was exactly the same as my old Guzzi smoke screen! Just the fittings different. So I held up both to the bike and decided I far preferred the smoke, as the midnight was a bit too 'solid' looking. A friend did it in about 5 mins. I find it does take a fair bit of buffeting off your body (been up to about 95mph with it), I get more wind noise on my helmet though. But I do wear ear plugs so not a huge issue. I think the smoke is the best colour for the red bike (IMO!), it doesn't detract too much from the looks so will probably be staying :)

I need one of these screens... Went for a ride from Brighton to Santa pod raceway on Friday and came back Sunday. Doing anywhere between 65-85mph on the motorway and the wind buffeting is horrendous! I felt like I was holding on so tight my hands were hurting and my arms were aching!

Does it make that much difference? I can deal with wind noise as I have a very quiet helmet plus ear plugs on long runs.
It's not perfect but does keep a lot of wind off your body - obviously not like a touring bike's but I was averaging about 85 okay, and even around 90 and more I wasn't feeling like I was about to be torn off the back like I did without it. However at the higher speeds my neck does ache a bit. You still get the buffeting on your arms but it's not as bad as your whole body being a sail!

I find the bike is affected quite a bit if it's windy as well, but I don't have a lot of ballast
