Having ordered one I felt confident after reading so many of the testimonials on the web site that I am confident I am getting a truly good product.
Me too, as well I received two messages from Steve at Dart thanking me and letting me know when my screen had shipped, now if we can get a how hard was it to install post it would make me decide whether to do it my self or not.The Dart screen? I ordered direct from Dart website
While for the most part I agree I can't help but think so far everything I have tried to do has ended in a problem. I never have had this difficulty on any other bike, but so far the times I have on this one every fastener seems way over torqued to the point where it damages fasteners on removal.Looks dead easy to install just be mindful you do not scratch screen when offering it up to brackets
With my luck lately in doing mods I probably will pay the dealer to fit it and save myself the frustration that I seem to experience the older I getIt is very simple to fit, but, it is a bit tight and fiddly getting the nut back onto the indicator securing bolt. But that's the only difficult part, and the instructions that come with it are simple and clear.
I have the same one on my Icon and you would really have to lay down on the tank to even try to look through it. I think the darkest tint looks great on my red Icon and it also will help protect other bits from the sun.I am average height and when I ride I do not even notice the midnight tint screen so no it does not get in the way
