OK, i can't fit my new bar end mirrors in to my FT bars! After recommendation on this forum, i bought some Dime city cycles mirrors: Black DCC Originals Aluminum CNC Bar End Mirror for 7/8" Handlebars

Got the stock ones of and bar ends out, but the new bar ends doesn't fit inside the bars! Any thing i could be doing wrong, or did i get wrong mirrors?

The outher anchor and the shim are both to wide to fit inside the bars..

For any of you that have installes them, please help

You have the correct mirrors...

Make sure the expansion "collars" are completely loose and fully collapsed - omit the shim.

Thank you for the advice about ditching the shim (thought this had to stay on for things to stay put). I still had to sand down the collars and inside of the bars to get them to fit. Tighten the internal bolt as much as i could, and used loctite on the others. just hope they stays on
