Hi everyone,

After I lowered my handlebars, for some reason I feel like the pull in all gears kind of flat lines after 4000rpm. I know peak torque is around 5700, so I'm not sure if this is psychological or something to do with how the cables are now bending to accommodate a lower bar.

I guess my question is - how fast does your bike go on 1st around if you keep giving it throttle after 4000rpm?

Has anyone experienced a change in how the bike pulls and accelerates after readjusting the lines and cables?

Thanks in advance!

I think there's only about 10% more torque from 4k to peak and it comes on linearly. Perhaps, what you aren't feeling, now that you're lower, is the drag you had before. Also, your weight isn't going to shift backward as much adding to the effect.

My new bars are lower and narrower and the parachute effect is much smaller.
