Now I don't know which dealer nor do I want to BUT if some of you witnessed the occasional bike that I pick up for service or warranty work you'd understand the technician cleaning the bike before starting to strip it down.

It's just my 2 cents.

That's fair enough Geoff, but to go ahead and clean it for such an artificially inflated cost without informing the person who has to pay that it's going to cost so much money is well out of order.

A jet wash at the local garage is less than a fiver and takes minutes...

... I don't think I've ever had to pay to have my car cleaned before it gets serviced. Heaven forbid a technician should get their hands dirty servicing a bike...

Ducati Wolverhampton charged me for taking my old Multistrada for an MOT! I asked can you do my MOT they said yes, this was years ago, anyhow I noticed some ridiculous price like £80 for the MOT. No they couldn't do the mot themselves so charged me for taking it to the MOT. They failed to tell me that before hand!!!!!

i think the practices that they employ are a little underhand and leave a nasty taste in the mouth. Maybe if they were upfront about it and informed us we could make a decision. As opposed to just fleecing us.
