Flashing dashes in odometer - repeated problem of my bike

My Icon got flashing dashes in odometer. The dealer reset the TOT after receiving a code from Italy Ducati.

Checking all electric connectors of battery, they said all are OK.

Unfortunately, the problem relapsed 4 times, after unexpected abrupt stopping of the engine while running.

Should I bring my Icon to the dealer every hundreds mile to reset ODO?

Anyone got similar problem with repetitive manner?

Man, most of them are useless. I went to Ducati Manchester. Not had amazing experiences with their sales team but service department were helpful enough.

upDate - replace battery for a new one, gone problem (dash flash) to reset odometer just take to Ducati dealer they introduce a code and that’s all, (70 USD.)
Well, no way, they are the only ones who can place the real value because if it is not done that way and without codes, the odometer shoots up due to desynchronization. That happened to me in 5 km of travel to the dealer, the odometer value rose to 33,000 km. and the real value was only 12,000 km, so it's only with DUCATI codes.

Just reset on a official Ducati dealer, first buy a new battery.

Took my Urban Enduro to Ducati Manchester last week for a service and MOT and they reset the Odometer so my correct mileage is back. They did pre-warn me that on my age of bike it was 50:50 whether to not it would work or I'd need new clocks! 😲 Obviously relieved that the reset worked. Impressed with their customer service and had the added advantage of a Streetfighter V2 courtesy bike for the day 😄
