Flatter handlebars

I read in another thread that someone had ordered Full Throttle bars for their Classic, I quite like the idea of flat bars, does anyone know if they come predrilled for switches. I've not had a lot of success in the past with drilling handlebars

I have set ordered. I've also been told that they won't fit
Classic on order getting the lower bars fitted by mororapido , friends had a set fitted to his ikon no problem!
Go to your favourite local bike shop, ask to see their selection of 7/8" (22mm) diameter bars, choose what you like, install on bike.
Correct. You could get the FT bars but you'd also need to change the bracket as they are different diam. tubes.
If you order the FT bars you need the FT bracket as the diameter of the tubes is different.
The FT bars come with everything you need to install them on the Classic, Icon and UE.
I know this because I have them on my UE.
And yes they are pre-drilled.

And the FT bars are drilled for the locating pins for the controls.
I sat on a full throttle for the first time at the weekend at the goodwood FOS, the bar position was much better than stock icon so gonna get a flatter set ordered asap, maybe Renthal or Ft not sure yet.

Think the seat was quite a bit comfier too !
Thanks Guys

I am going for the comfort seat and full throttle bars - should be perfect for me then. I am tall and have had a bad back (getting old - but the bike puts a big smile on my face)

I am in Surrey near Box Hill in UK - great biking area

Cheers

I'm very pleased with the full throttle bars. I find it a much nicer riding position although being a short arse with narrow shoulders I think I'm eventually gonna trim 1inch off each bar so my arms aren't spread so wide
i had full throttle bars put on my classic..... made the bike 1000x better than it already was . . . if i had to pick only one mod... that would be it!

Are the Full Throttle bars the same as the ones called "aluminium variable section handlebars" from the accessories range?

Yes they are.
Might have been said somewhere but the FT bars come complete with necessary fittings direct from Ducati, buying after market might mean buying the risers etc.
Local Ducati says the complete kit works out cheaper than just the bars odd but fact.
Course other bars are available lol
Thanks - do you ever get to Box Hill orcride down to Chichester?

Whats the cost of the ft bars, also whats the cost for supply and fit ?
£130. Fitted labour was half hour but aftersales it's an hour!

Well I fitted a set of FT handlebars today.. love them. The bike seems smaller and more nimble. it is a perception thing but along with the riding benefits it looks the "Ducks guts" I am very happy how it now looks and feels...
