I doubt if air would get trapped in the line there, or certainly no significant amount. The internal diameter of braided hose is only about 2mm. Many bikes have a problem with air trapped at the banjo where that is the highest point but the master cylinder is pretty level on the Scrambler. I reckon that if you turn the bars fully left and push down on the hose any air will move to the master cylinder, being the highest point. A few gentle "jiggles" of the brake lever would encourage the air back up through the reservoir.

A warped disc will push the pads (and pistons) back with the result that you get excessive travel at the lever next time you use the brakes. It's easy to think that air must be getting in.
