I noticed that in my classic, the distance between the top of triple clamp and top of front is about 10mm, but in all images i see around the web forks are almost flush with the top of triple clamp. Should I move the forks down? Maybe the front of the bike is lower than it is supposed to be?
How do you make that adjustment?

So you think i should change it?
Does it handle ok? A suspension guru on the net says the scrambler would benefit from dropping the forks 6mm, if your happy with it I'd leave it as I feel the steering could always do with speeding up a bit.

it does steer well. very easy to go into corners. But I don't want to loose ground clearance and i do slide towards the tank. Ok I'll see what can be done. Thanks

Slide them down the triples, and raise the rear spring preload instead?

As long as you lift your bike on a stand, you're fine.
