That's shocking for a tyre that can't be more than 2 years old since manufacture. I've already replaced the rear with an Avon Storm 3D XM. The front will be following shortly.
Angel GT's are great for tarmac, and last twice the distance.
That's pretty shocking as said above. My rear is needing replaced (getting worn down now) and I'm looking at my options. I've narrowed it down to the Pirelli Angel GTs or the Michellin Pilot Road 3s.
Hi Guys...Has anyone got any comments on the tyre wear on the standard Pirelli that are fitted to this bike? I seem to be going through a lot of rubber. How do the Angel GT's compare?

Well since changing to the Angel GTs I have done another 10,000kms and they seem like they maybe at worst 50% worn. Really impressed with them and great on the road... they could have another 10,000kms in them.
