Looks a great spot Phil and what a lovely morning, bike looks good with the daffodils for company just hope there's not to much salt on the roads.

Attended the Manchester bike show yesterday, the 1100 scrambler was on display but I prefer my title olde FT 800 so no change there.

Thanks Geoff. That was the first time I have been out since before Christmas.
I think the 1100 looks cumbersome and unwieldy: but I am only 5'4" (nearly).
Did you have a look at the CCM Flat Tracker FT6, and also the Fantic Caballero 500?
I went ahead with the small led indicators and in the dark they are very bright. Not so sure about the daylight though. Can't decide whether to go for a side mounted number plate or the more traditional tail one.
Will probably put the front mudguard and my newly prepared rear one on. No rain yesterday but went through a puddle and got splashed - on my helmet and visor!
Looking forward to the Summer. I prefer to ride somewhere and have been looking at a guided tour site in Northern France but they are all booked up. Any suggestions?

Having problems fitting new led indicators at the moment. Can't get a bolt in my newly prepared rear mudguard.
