I have been trying to get a fuel filter for the scrambler. Ducati don't list a part number for filter or seals and dealer said it will be about a month before they can order one from Ducati once a part number is issued.

Anyone out there know of an alternative supplier. Out of curiosity looked at service schedules and no service includes replacing fuel filter. I wonder now if one is fitted. Any information appreciated.
I'm curious as to why you need to replace the filter so soon. Strangely, the service schedule in the workshop manual doesn't mention changing the fuel filter but I'd expect it to be the same as the belts at 15,000 miles, in line with other models.

Hi Cag. I doubt very much if the filter would last the life of the bike, although it would probably last a lot more than 15,000 miles under normal circumstances. I am surprised that your dealer can't get one for you. Ducati haven't made the parts lists generally available yet but I'd have the thought the dealer would have access to them. Although it may be, like the first MTS parts list, that the filter isn't listed separately from the flange/pump assembly, which was a bit daft for a service item.
If you have access to the filter can you measure it and post the dimensions? It will most likely be the same as one already used in other models and these seem to be generally available as generic parts. The MTS 1200 uses a Mahle KL97 and the earlier bikes a Mahle KL145. One of these may be used in the Scrambler.
