Finally got round to removing the yellow seat sides panels without buying a new seat, still need a +25mm comfort seat but that is later in the year
Made two attempts the first trial didn't adhere to the vinyl and just came clean off with tape, dye was supposed to penetrate the vinyl according to web pages
Remove all the first attempt by using tape the cleaned using IPA .
2nd trial Used Halfords black flexible vinyl and stays detached, Cleaned using IPA then applied 4 coats, cured for 24 hours and appears good so far.
Did a tape adhesion test on the underside and it looks well adhered this time and looks good
Will keep on monitoring to see how durable it is
TRG Leather dye didn't work, Halfords looks good so far
