Hi everyone,

My number plate broke off (poorly installed tail tidy...) and the light must have shorted, the wires are frayed. The rear light, brake light and horn are no longer working.

I presume a fuse has blown, does anyone know where it's located? I can't find anything online.

Probably a stripped/pulled wire or plug. I'd start with the tail light; unplug and confirm that it works. Then work back into the wiring harness.

The number plate is prone to loosen up. Even with blue loctite I lost a few parts (but never had the whole thing come loose). I replaced the Ducati lock washers with regular lock washers and that seems to have done the trick.

I had repeated problems with that 15A-fuse blowing whenever the bike was heated up from riding and got wet. Even in heavy rain. To me it seemed that the steam condensated somewhere and caused a shortcut. Replaced the horn and the tail light. Never found the source of the problem. Traded the bike in ...
