Mine indicates right under 6000 RPM. It's fine except I'm still breaking in the engine. The bike vibrates less than most other bikes I've owned, so it's tolerable for me.
It's nothing like a Harley. It idles at 1600 RPM and actually gets out of the way when you turn the right hand grip. In every way, shape, and form, it is better than any Harley I've ever been on including the XR1200 and the V-Rod.
Mine is very smooth at all speeds/ revs, I do have a little problem though, seems like 7 th gear is missing on mine, I must try and engage it on every ride
