Too wide for the Icon bars, unless I've done something wrong.

NB I don't mean diameter (have shims for that) .

About two inches.
What made matters worse I got my local guy to do it, whilst he installed a brighter headlight bulb and new back tyre.
He only found out when he went to put the bars back on. Also he said installing the bulb was a pig.
£150 later.

I thought you had an FTP? These risers fit the FTP bars without any modifications or shims afaik...

I bought Icon bars as higher. But even these are either too far forward or too low if pulled back.
Trying to get to a situation where my shoulders and arms are relaxed, elbows bent, lower arms horizontal (ish), light grip on the bars and can do the chicken.
My arms are too straight and am gripping too hard. Trying to get to the right seating position etc.

Or reinstall tbe original one... With the Gilles risers you can get the closer to you, and also higher than stock....

Will be trying my cheap Chinese ones first.
Had my FTP bars on them but still not high enough.
