I thought the factory grips were awful; I believe a grip swap was my first mod. Use the search box in the top right corner and you'll get a ton of hits.
I use these, they're inexpensive, soft on the hand, and absorb the vibes.
They also last surprisingly well considering how soft they are. Buy them a few sets at a time and keep a few spare sets in the workshop.
They fit the scrambler really well.
I cut the flange off the original grips and keep them on the bike to seal the inside end of the grips, bars, and throttle mechanism.
