Has anyone put Renthal low bars on their Icon? While I feel comfortable with the stock position I feel it would be enhanced by lower bars.

I switched out the bars on my Urban Enduro with Rental Road Ultra Lows. Feels much better now. Stock bars set to upright for me. I may switch to clip ons sometime down the road but that would only be if i went full cafe racer.

Are the ultra lows narrower than the stock bars?

Yes- by quite a bit. Had to rotate the banjo bolt on the brake fluid reservoir - thanks to someone else on here for pics and the idea

You bought Rizoma clamps to fit the Renthal handlebar? Which exactly rizoma item is it? could you share a link? which other item did you have to get to build such a configuration? Thanks.

The Renthal trials bars on my Classic are the same width as the standard bars, and there is plenty of room for the controls.

Anybody cut their handlebars shorter? I used to do it on all of my motocross and woods bikes. The Scrambler bars seem really wide but maybe that's just my inexperience with street bikes. I'd think like to cut as close to an inch off each side as possible.

before I fitted new Rizoma bars last year I cut 3/4 inch off both ends, plenty of room for the controls and for me a much nicer riding position.

I've fitted a lot of Rizoma bars both on my own bikes plus friends and customers bikes and only once did I drill the bars.
If you don't get it right first time you can easily end up with a series of holes which will weaken the integrity of the bars so I dremel the small pips off the clamps, wrap electrical tape once round the bar under were the clamp sits and carefully tighten the clamps, so far after a lot of bars and miles there's never been a problem.

Thank you, Geoff. Actually I was referring more to drills regarding the throttle etc. Personally I'd prefer to buy the bars predrilled or get them to a specialist to do the drilling. I would not like to risk it and do the drills on my own.

hmm, i don't know if i took a pic of that set up. Ive since switch to Rizoma fat bars for the gauge relocation bracket. Bars are similar in height but i think the Ultra Lows have slightly more sweep back by 10 degrees.

Which model do u buy bro ? I looked website hava ma006 and ma009 006 more lowest than 009 which handebqr do you use ?
