Take a look:

SADDLEBAG PLATFORM DUCATI SCRAMBLER DUO

These would have been perfect for my summer trip around Europe. Definitely going to look at getting them ready for next years adventures.

I'm a bit of a Kriega fanboy, their stuff is amazing. I really like how easy the platforms are to remove when not in use and to my eyes, they look much nicer than the normal scaffolding. Think I know whats going on the Christmas list...

Quite like those, yes they are different and better looking than the normal mounting frames. Are the saddlebags the same size (they look like it in the pic above) although in the video it describes them as Duo 28 and 36?

Love Kriega stuff too :)

Same size on each size. The 28 and 36 refers to the two sizes of bags they do.

All the pictures with the scrambler feature the 28l bags. The 36l ones are pictured with an RnineT. So could look bulky on the Scrambler but obviously hold more.

They do look slick as a ribbon. I wonder about the straps across the seat, I don't want them crowding where I sit. I've never seen anything Kriega in person, hear only good about them, though.

Unless your normal riding position is something like the below, I reckon you'll be fine Sarah :p

I've been using a Kriega R25 daily for about 2 years now. Apart from the dirt, it could be brand new. Not so much as a fraying seam! If the bottom of the bag was a bit more resistant to soaking up water in heavy rain, it would be perfect. I've been meaning to sew in a plastic liner for a while now.

I've been using the US20 for a while and got a US30 for my Euro travels this summer. Again, super tough and 100% waterproof (heavily tested in 450 miles of rain through Germany!)
The mounting for Kriega stuff can be a bit fiddly at times but the price you pay for them being so universal.
