No worries, that's what forums are for. More options = less buyer's remorse. Not to "steal you thunder" about the Denali DM Micro's, but they are wickedly expensive @ $250 US per set.
Can I ask why you would put a switch in the "common" cable rather than the low beam cable?Put a switch on the ground wire for the H4 bulb (not the high or low beam connection - just the ground).
Referred to as "common" in the linked pic.

Yes it will. It turns the headlight off completely. Of course if you want a passing function or to be able to turn high beam on only - then yes - put the switch in the low beam line only. Can I ask why you would put a switch in the "common" cable rather than the low beam cable?
Wouldn't this disable the high beam as well?
Wow, I just caught this.I hear that they are going to re-brand Denali as McKinley.
Totally correct, found this out "the hard way", this evening. All I installed the Philips X-treme 130 bulb - brighter and whiter - BUT - the rear of the bulb is longer than the OEM bulb and you can not put the cover back on correctly.
You can get the screws to start - but that's it.
So just be aware - not sure if there is any other high output bulbs that are same as standard bulb. - I will need to look about some more.
Anyone fitted any?
For now I have the cover on and sealed it with some silicone around the gap as a precaution - but not ideal long term.
I had the same problem. After a quick search on internet I found that there are two standard for the H4 socket: P43t-38 and P43 (or Px43t), the first one being longer (see List of automotive light bulb types - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Then I bought an Osram Night Racer, but not yet mounted. All I installed the Philips X-treme 130 bulb - brighter and whiter - BUT - the rear of the bulb is longer than the OEM bulb and you can not put the cover back on correctly.
