As part of all the bits extra that I've ordered I've ordered the headlight grill for my Classic but having looked at different dealer websites I'm not sure if I've ordered the right bits, and my dealer isn't sure either.

I've ordered the

97380231A BILLET ALUMINIUM HEADLIGHT TRI
97380181A HEADLIGHT PROTECTION GRILLE - O

But this morning I've seen this item too - CLAMPS FOR HEADLIGHT GRILLE

What do I actually need to fit a headlight grill? Why have Ducati made it so bloody complicated? Why isn't it sold just as one item??

I'm in two minds whether to tell them to poke it tbh as they can't seem to supply it anyway.

Don't get me wrong I'm loving the bike but Ducati are taking the p1ss with these accessories both from a pricing and availability pov.

Terry , I just bought the cheaper headlight Rim, and the grill, sorry can't tell you the numbers because they fitted it when I had my first service done, best pic I have, sorry

You don't need the clamps! Do install it a little off center so as not to grind the front brake fluid cable protection casing.

Cheers guys. Had another word with my dealer and they've now ordered the same fitment as Elvisto, so I am due £47 back
