I've been scouring the net for a headlight protector for the sixty2 that's just like the oem one for the 800cc scramblers; unsuccessful so far. Has anybody here found one already?

Yeah, saw that also, but I'm not a fan of the honeycomb-ish design. I'm looking for something with a simpler horizontal-vertical grill design like that of the oem ones for the 800cc.

Mugello do headlight grills as well. They look pretty good too and don't need the headlight trim that Ducati sell separately to attach them. Just mounts to where your front turn signals attach.

OEM 800 doesn't fit the Sixty2, according to the sites/docs I've read. I'm not really sure why; headlights of the 800 and 400 look very similar.

The grills for the 800 will fit the Sixty2 if you fit the headlight trim. I believe it comes in stamped steel or aluminium. DM me for more info. I have just fit the X grill to mine. The Sixty2 comes with a plastic trim which you can replace with the 800 version means you can fit the grills.
